Beth Mason and Idyltime!!

My friend Beth Mason, has been sick. She suddenly got sick about a month ago and progressed to be diagnosed with Anti-NMDA receptor encephalitis. Her and her husband, Tate just released a CD with their band, IDYLTIME. The band is raising money to help pay for the outrageous hospital bills. She is still in the hospital and fighting to get better. Please support this amazing couple.

Boise Weekly Cover Auction Grant

On behalf of Boise Old Time, I wrote a grant(with lots of help...)to form a family old-time dance. Well... we were awarded $400! Yippee! This dance will be for families of kids preschool and up, focusing on dances that little ones can participate in. So now it is planning time. I am envisioning this dance to happen in May 2012. I am looking for an inexpensive venue, with non-carpeted floors with room for a large group. I believe that this will be well attended. If you, the community, have any ideas or views, please feel free to contact me.

Thanks,
Ava
