Boise Hive is a non-profit music resource center founded to provide an all-ages rehearsal and recording place for local musicians and artists. This donor funded, volunteer run community space aims to provide a facility where artists come to practice and hone their craft.

Friday, February 6th: Hokum Hoedown
at the Mardi Gras Ballroom, 7pm $7, all ages
The Hokum Hi-Flyers will be playing for your listening and dancing pleasure while a local cast of callers will teach you traditional square dances.
$7 at the door. Doors at 7, concert at 7:30, dancing from 8-10. No experience or partner needed. All ages, full bar.

Sunday, February 8th: Foghorn Stringband Hands on Workshops,
1-3pm, 3:15-5:15pm $25 each session
Reeb, Nadine, Sammy and Caleb will host two hands on workshops at 743 E. Santa Paula Court, 83712
Each workshop session will be 2 hours long.
From 1-3pm featuring Mandolin, Guitar, Bass and Fiddle.
From 3:15-5:15 Harmony Singing, Melody Singing and Banjo.
Workshop sessions are $25 each or $50 for both.
If you are interested in a private lesson they will offer them for $50/hr
