February 2015 Events! Hokum Hoedown, Foghorn Stringband, Clumsey Fest!!

      Wednesday, February 3rd:  Benefit for BOISE HIVE at the Sapphire Room, 6pm $10-15
Boise Hive is a non-profit music resource center founded to provide an all-ages rehearsal and recording place for local musicians and artists. This donor funded, volunteer run community space aims to provide a facility where artists come to practice and hone their craft. 
Support their cause by attending a fantastic night of music by Andy Byron & the Mighty Red Melons,  Jonathan Warren and The Billy Goats and Idyltime.
100% of ticket sales and donations benefit Boise Hive!
$15 for preferred seating and $10 for general seating.  Full food menu and bar available. This is an all-ages show.
Advance ticket sales will end 4 hours before the show. Unsold seats will be available at the door an hour before the event on February 4th.
DOORS OPEN AT 6:00pm -- see you there!

Friday, February 6th:  Hokum Hoedown 
at the Mardi Gras Ballroom, 7pm $7, all ages
The Hokum Hi-Flyers will be playing for your listening and dancing pleasure while a local cast of callers will teach you traditional square dances.
$7 at the door.  Doors at 7, concert at 7:30, dancing from 8-10.  No experience or partner needed.  All ages, full bar.

Saturday, February 7th: Foghorn Stringband Concert, 7pm $15, all ages
Coming from Portland Oregon and The Yukon Territory, Canada we proudly welcome The Foghorn Stringband!
Playing an intimate concert at the home of Phil Lansing's  743 E. Santa Paula Court, 83712 
please bring low chairs

Sunday, February 8th:  Foghorn Stringband Hands on Workshops, 
1-3pm, 3:15-5:15pm  $25 each session 
Reeb, Nadine, Sammy and Caleb will host two hands on workshops at 743 E. Santa Paula Court, 83712
Each workshop session will be 2 hours long. 
From 1-3pm featuring Mandolin, Guitar, Bass and Fiddle.
From 3:15-5:15 Harmony Singing, Melody Singing and Banjo.
Workshop sessions are $25 each or $50 for both.

If you are interested in a private lesson they will offer them for $50/hr
