Please join us for an evening of acoustic music, Monday, June 26, 2017, doors open at 6:15, music at 7:00 p.m.
It’s the second-ever backyard concert at the home of Jeff Fereday and Kay Hummel, 420 E. Crestline Drive.
The artist is Albanie Falletta, a fantastic guitarist, banjo player and singer from New Orleans. If you appreciate swing music, older jazz (mostly 1920s-1940s), country blues, ragtime, and Django Reinhardt-style guitar playing, Albanie’s music is for you.
Albanie is on a solo tour of the west. Help us welcome her to Boise and give her a good send-off to Seattle and Vancouver and beyond.
Parking—Our driveway and gravel parking strip, on street, and at the gravel parking area just uphill from us at Promontory Road. We may be able to use some of the neighbors’ driveways. We’ll have signs to direct you to parking.
Refreshments: We’ll provide snacks and juice, plus a keg of Charlie’s home-brewed IPA. Feel free to bring your favorite drinks or snacks to share.
Chairs: Please bring a folding chair. Sun hats or visors recommended.
Cost: We will be asking for a donation of $15. All proceeds will go to Albanie to help defray her travel expenses.
